Selection Criteria

CSA membership is highly selective. Service as an ambassador is recognized by faculty, staff, and students as a high honor to which students aspire.

Ambassadors will be selected using the following criteria and guidelines:

  • Applicants must be a full-time regularly enrolled Georgia College student who expects to complete his or her degree at Georgia College.
  • Applicants should have a minimum college or high school GPA of 3.0. Members are expected to maintain a 2.75 GPA or higher throughout their time on the Council.
  • Applicants should have polished speaking skills and be able to “think on their feet.”
  • Applicants should have a professional, reliable, and motivated attitude.

  • Interviews - September 5 & 6
  • Induction Ceremony - September 11, 5:30 p.m.
  • Fallfest Training - September 13 & 20
  • Fallfest (Georgia College Fall Preview Day) - September 21
  • Super SaTOURday - October 19
  • New Member Trainings - Dates TBD
